JUNEAU -- The Alaska House of Representatives reaffirmed its approval for awarding a license to TransCanada Corp., which is pursuing a multibillion dollar, 1,715-mile natural gas pipeline project.

It seemed that Tuesday’s breakfast was critical for Joe Gardner and the Peninsula Oilers toward an 11-3 victory in the evening against the Alaska Goldpanners in the opener of a four-game Alaska Baseball League series at Growden Memorial Park.
