Terms of this agreement include: Not using your Newsminer.com comments to advertise or to solicit anyone to buy or sell products or services, or to make donations of any kind, without our express written approval, and not posting comments of an offensive nature. Offensive comments include any that are as follows:
- potentially libelous (slanderous) or tortious
- defamatory, abusive, obscene, harassing or otherwise hateful
- racist or ethnically objectionable
- excessively foul and/or vulgar language
- inappropriately sexual
- baseless personal attacks or otherwise threatening, or baiting someone into such comments
- illegal material or material that infringes on the rights of others
- any comments that infringe on the ability of others to enjoy this forum.
Comments that are off-topic and are borderline removable will usually be removed; comments that are on-topic will be given more latitude.

Our software sends out a confirmation e-mail, and Newsminer.com cannot be responsible for making sure your e-mail provider allows the confirmation e-mail to be accepted.
AOL users: AOL might consider the registration e-mail we send out to be spam and prevent you from receiving it. Unfortunately, until AOL changes their e-mail mechanisms, the only work-around is to sign up for a Newsminer.com account using a non-AOL e-mail account, such as from Yahoo!, or Hotmail.
