Rescue
Alaska State Troopers rescued a man stranded on the Chatanika River Tuesday afternoon.
The 64-year-old Fairbanks man was stuck after his boat hit a tree on the river. Troopers transported the man back to the boat landing.
Theft
Fairbanks police received a report Tuesday that $970 was stolen from two tills at Cold Spot Feed.
