Auditions for Opera Fairbanks scheduled

Stumble It!FAIRBANKS -- Opera Fairbanks will be conducting auditions on July 31 for the upcoming children’s opera “Help, Help the Globolinks” and general auditions for the 2009 season.
Those interested in auditioning for a named role should prepare two arias in contrasting styles and languages, along with a photograph and music resume. Chorus auditions should include one selection from any musical style. An accompanist will be provided.
Out-of-town auditions may be made by DVD, if the recording is made within the last six months. The 2009 season includes “Tosca,” “Amahl and the Night Visitors” and a concert of scenes and arias.
