Nikiski toddler drowns in lake

Stumble It!NIKISKI -- Alaska State Troopers say a 1-year-old girl was found drowned in a Kenai Peninsula lake.
The girl's name has not been released.
Troopers took a call Friday night that the girl was missing from a home on Island Lake in Nikiski.
Troopers, emergency medical personnel and volunteers searched and found the girl in the water.
She was rushed to Central Peninsula Hospital but pronounced dead just before midnight.
Troopers are investigating the incident.
