The Public Safety Report is compiled from criminal complaints filed in state and federal courts, as well as some police blotter information, trooper dispatches, fire department reports and interviews with public safety officials. Individuals named as arrested and/or charged with crimes in this report are presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Assault

A man told Fairbanks police Thursday that three men in dark clothes kicked in his door in the 1100 block of Ivy Drive and struck him with a bat.

The men arrived at the home in an older model four door Nissan Sentra. The victim was only able to describe one of the attackers as a white male.

He told police that he thought the men were after his TV and amplifiers.
