Mediation training has openings

North Star Youth Mediation is offering free training for youths between the ages of 12 through 18. Peer and victim-offender mediation takes place on June 2-6 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Parent-Teen Mediation program runs through July 22-25 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Youths who complete the program are elgible to become members of the NSYMP Mediation Corps and will have the change to co-facilitate cases involving youth offenders or in other disputes.

All training will be held at Randy Smith Middle School room 115. For more information call 457-6798 or 457-6792.
