Former Palin aide pens own book

Published Wednesday, October 21, 2009

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Sarah Palin isn't the only member of her former administration planning a book.

The Anchorage Daily News reports that Frank Bailey, a close aide to the former Alaska governor, is writing his own book, titled "Renegade: Sarah Palin's Hatchet Man."

Bailey was embroiled in Troopergate, the investigation of Palin's firing of her former police commissioner over allegations he wouldn't fire a trooper who went through a bitter divorce from Palin's sister.

In a recorded phone conversation made public, Bailey told a state police official that Palin and her husband didn't understand why the trooper still had a job.

Bailey quit state government shortly after Palin resigned as governor in July.

A publisher for Bailey's book hasn't yet been determined.

Palin's memoir, "Going Rogue" will be published Nov. 17.

Remember what Jan Brady used to say?

"Marcia, Marcia, Marcia, why is it always Marcia."

Replace Marcia with Sarah in that lament, and you would perfectly describe this website.

Hey! Spread the wealth....as long as there are enough fools to buy these books, why not?

Maybe I'll round up some friends from The Forks Roadhouse and Sheep Creek Lodge. We could publish a book called "Sarah Palin-The Early Days".

I'm anxiously awaiting Levi's book. He's the best thing to come out of the whole Palin debacle.

To paraphrase what they say in Hollywood:
It doesn't matter what they say about you, as long as they are talking about you.

Oh, now I get the joke. Look at the headline: Bailey wrote his OWN book instead of getting a ghostwriter like Palin did.

Yes glow, that is the joke. You figured it out. Anyone who ever had help writing a book is stupid.
