Members of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds perform precision aerial maneuvers in F-16 Fighting Falcons during a practice demonstration Monday afternoon, June 23, 2008, at Eielson Air Force Base. On Tuesday, the Thunderbirds, along with other military aircraft such as the F-22 Raptor, will perform in the Air Force exhibition “Soaring into Solstice” at Eielson. The event is free to the public with gates opening at 10 a.m. and the headlining Thunderbirds performance at 2 p.m.
