Midnight Sun Run 2009
Despite clouds and drizzle masking the midnight sun, 3,600 runners took off from the Patty Center on a 10-kilometer trek to Pioneer Park at 10 p.m. on June 20, 2009. The 27th annual Midnight Sun Run attracted a bevy of people in costumes and some dedicated runners, all celebrating summer solstice in Fairbanks.
