Garbage bears
Most trash cans are easy pickings for Alaska's bears, so state officials are always looking for one the notoriously inventive critters can't get into. Here is a series of photos from the Alaska Zoo on May 8, 2009, that shows a trash can that kept the bears out and another that only slightly delayed the treat.
