The Easter bunny adopted northern transportation methods when he paid a visit to the researchers at Toolik Field Station and left several large, colorful eggs along the snowy entrance road at 284.5 Mile on the Dalton Highway. The Toolik Field Station, open year-round and operated by University of Alaska Fairbanks' Institute of Arctic Biology, is a national center for research on climate change and plant and animal adaptation in the Arctic.
