Rep. Sharon Cissna is hosting a discussion tomorrow in Fairbanks about some of the other hurdles of building the natural gas pipeline, specifically, the social, health and economic impacts of it.
"The state has a responsibility to get fair returns on our resource development,” Cissna said in a news release. “But it’s also responsible for protecting Alaskan’s health and safety."
The discussion will take place at noon in the Carlson Center's Prow Room and is open to the public.

THANK YOU Rep. Cissna!!! Some of us remeber the confusion of the construction of TAPS in the 1970's, only this time we have the ability to do something about it...IF we are prepared. It is time to set aside regional and political difference and work in the BEST INTEREST OF ALL ALASKANS.
