Gov. Palin is restarting her weekly gas line briefings and will continue them through the rest of the special session on TransCanada’s proposal.
“The purpose of the Weekly Gasline Briefing is to continue to answer the most pressing questions Alaskans have about AGIA and provide educated background for those interested in the process,” reads a news release from her office.
The first briefing is about one of the issues lawmakers have expressed big concerns about -- the $500 million state match allowed under AGIA.
A copy is online at the Anchorage Daily News (don’t ask me why she sent it to them and not us), at www.adn.com/opinion/story/435146.html, and will be available later on the gov’s AGIA Web site, www.gov.state.ak.us/agia.
