City to open part of Cushman to two-way traffic Thursday

Cushman Street will be open to two-way traffic from 10th Avenue to Gaffney Road Thursday morning.
That's the word from Kathy Vincent at the city.
There will be two lanes northbound and one lane southbound.
The city plans to remove the temporary barriers on that stretch of road and all motorists should be prepared, as this will be a hazardous stretch of pavement.
Many times during the winter, the alleged three-lane road becomes a 2.5-lane road, so I don't know exactly how well this will work.
