Friends plan benefit for Johnson family
Published Saturday, February 14, 2009
Friends of Linda and Alan Johnson are planning a spaghetti dinner and silent auction Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the commons of Monroe High School.
They want to help the family by raising funds to assist with expenses related to Linda’s specialized radiation treatment for cancer in Seattle.
Their son Eric is a Monroe graduate and their son Kevin is a Monroe student.
The event is sponsored by members of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Fairbanks Counseling & Adoption and the Catholic Schools.
The cost is $5 per person or $20 for a family of five. There also will be a silent auction.
An account has been opened at Alaska USA Federal Credit Union for any donations, No. 1441300.
If you have airline miles to donate to the family, you can do so at little or no cost through Vagabond Travel. Call 452-3636 for details.

Good luck Mrs. Johnson. Get well and come home.
another american goes begging because of the health care "system" we have.
shame on america. shame.
