Fairbanks author releases new sci-fi book

Fairbanks author David Marusek, who has made a name for himself in the world of science fiction, has a new novel out.
"Mind Over Ship" is Marusek's second novel.
He will have a book release party Saturday Jan. 31 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Gulliver's Books on College Road.
The new book is a sequel to "Counting Heads" and it "picks up right where the first book ended," says Marusek.
