Musher finds lost dog

Published Saturday, March 28, 2009

Shirley Liss has some good news about the husky that bolted from her truck Thursday on College Road. After three days of searching, he was found on the trails between Creamer's Field and Farmers Loop.

The dog named Fiddle, who is her best leader, was tracked down with the help of several volunteers.

Liss lives in Goldstream, so when the dog ran off from the veterinary hospital on College Road, he was in unfamiliar territory.

Liss wants to thank everyone who kept an eye out for her dog.

So happy Fiddle is home with his Mom! I have a Siberian Husky who's done this to me a time or two. They're very 'jumpy' dogs...I think mine has ADHD most of the time!
