Two great beer-tasting events are coming...here's the first

Get those taste buds warmed up, two great annual beer tasting events are scheduled over the next two weekends.
Saturday, July 18 SIlver Gulch Brewery will host the 2009 Golden Days Summer Beer Fest. More than 200 beers will be available for tasting, including many from Alaska-based brewers such as Silver Gulch (of course), Midnight Sun, Alaskan, Homer's Cusack brewing and Kenai River. Other possible last minute inclusions are Moose Tooth and Snow Goose.
Many of the Belgian and other import beers, as well as many American microbrews found at the Silver Gulch bar will also be out for tasting.
The event runs from 3-10 p.m. and costs $20, which includes a 4 oz. tasting glass and 10 beer samples. Additional samples can be purchased.
