You never know what you'll find on the community bulletin board

I was reading the bulletin board at the laundromat this morning and in between the dogsleds, firewood and ammunition for sale, I saw this notice handwritten on lined notebook paper: "Looking for a female partner to share the '09 gold mining season.

Seasonal whiplash

A week ago I was still slogging around in knee-deep snow. Today, it's shorts and sandals and wondering how I ever lived in Florida when I'm wilting in Fairbanks in 72 degree temperatures.
